The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has initiated a recall of approximately 13,000 units of Vacation’s Legendary Vacation candle. This action comes in response to alarming reports of extremely high flames causing the glass containers to break, creating potential fire and laceration hazards. The recall affects candles sold online through various platforms, including vacation.inc, Amazon, and ulta.com, from November 2023 to September 2024.
The affected products are part of the Vacation Black Label Scented Candles brand, featuring a distinctive black glass vessel with a foil gold-color label. These candles, designed to emit a poolside vibe through their sunscreen-like scent, have unexpectedly become a source of concern for consumer safety. While no injuries have been reported thus far, the potential risks have prompted swift action from regulatory bodies.
