In the United States, over the last several decades there has been an unquestionable decline in the quality of life of most American citizens. Indeed, the cost of living has continued to rise to major heights. Since the 2021 calendar year, fiscal problems have become the norm in the United States. Things have quickly gotten out of hand in these regards domestically. Since 2020, inflation has been a major issue in the United States. The cost of living has soared, and the price of basic items have increased to such an extent that Americans simply cannot afford the same items they once could just a few years ago. Interest rates have skyrocketed, and the economy is increasingly “two-sided”. For individuals on the younger side of life, the difficult realities of living under President Biden have been difficult to stomach.
The upcoming election nears ever closer, and it appears likely that Donald Trump and Biden will face off once again in a similar fashion to four years ago. Many major issues are likely to dominate the cycle, including the economy, immigration, overall national security and more. On the economy, many potential voters have stated in surveys that they trust Donald Trump, over the incumbent Biden on a broader scale. Trump recently survived an assassination attempt at a rally, and Biden has faced several dropout calls and endured strong headwinds within his party after a disastrous performance on the debate stage.
The Founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, has claimed that Democrats are “limiting” the American Dream. While speaking at the Republican National Convention, Charlie Kirk claimed that in Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s America, individuals will not be able to own any “thing” and must be content (or “happy”) with this scenario. Charlie Kirk said that being a young American has been tough, citing 47% increases in home prices since 2020 and claimed a $106,000 income requirement for ownership.
