Donald Trump was in California last weekend where he raised millions at three big-dollar campaign fundraisers.

The presumptive Republican nominee kicked off his California fundraising tour on Thursday, June 6 at the home of venture capitalist David Sacks in San Francisco where the campaign raised roughly $12 million.

Trump then headed to Southern California on Friday, June 7 to attend a fundraiser at the Beverly Hills home of Lee Samson, the founder of Windsor Healthcare Management. Tickets for the Beverly Hill fundraiser ranged from $5,000 to $250,000 per person and raised around $6 million.

On Saturday, June 8, Trump was in Newport Beach in Orange County for a fundraiser at the home of Word & Brown health insurance company co-founder John Word on Harbor Island.

Tickets for the Newport Beach event, co-hosted by tech billionaire Palmer Luckey, ranged from $3,300 to $100,000.

According to the Newport Beach Police, roughly 3,000 Trump supporters lined the streets to greet the former president as he arrived in Newport Beach, holding signs and chanting his name as Trump’s motorcade rode past.

Flores, a Trump supporter told the Los Angeles Times that the economy and the border crisis were her top issues in the 2024 election.

While the Trump campaign lagged behind President Biden in raising money for months, that trend turned around in April when the RNC and Trump campaigns outraised their Democrat counterparts for the first time in this election cycle.

Following Trump’s conviction in the New York hush money trial, the Trump campaign was flooded with donations, raising nearly $53 million in the first 24 hours after the verdict.

The campaign reported that with the post-conviction haul, it closed out May by raising $141 million. However, the official tally will not be known until after the campaign submits its filings to the Federal Elections Commission this month.

The Trump campaign expected to raise at least $27.5 million in its fundraising sweep of California and Las Vegas last weekend.
