Tom Brady Fails Driving Test On Camera

( Hertz Team JOTA announced last Wednesday that 7-time Super Bowl champ Tom Brady’s apparel brand will be their official apparel partner and sponsor on their Porsche 963 LMDh which will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship for the first time this year.

In a statement last Wednesday, Brady boasted of being a longtime fan of motor racing and said having his BRADY apparel brand join Hertz Team JOTA is “an incredibly exciting opportunity.” He said the partnership is perfect since both his apparel brand and Hertz believe in “teamwork,” “determination,” and offering a “seamless experience.” Brady said he looked forward to the team competing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans later in the year.

The former Super Bowl star founded Brady Brand in 2021. The apparel brand sells sweats, T-shirts, pants, and underwear.

To promote the new partnership with Hertz Team JOTA, Brady posted a video on Twitter showing him trying out a race simulator, and the first attempt was less than stellar.

Brady’s Porsche 963 swerves all over the place as the frustrated footballer expresses his annoyance over his lack of driving skills, reminding viewers that it was his “first day.”

Hertz’s “Mighty 38” Porsche 963 team of drivers includes Portugal’s António Félix da Costa, Will Stevens of the UK, and China’s Yifei Ye. The former head of Audi Motorsport, Dieter Gass, will serve as team principal.

In June, the Hertz team will participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, when the endurance race celebrates its 100th year. In the 24 Hours of Le Mans, cars are driven by a team of drivers who rotate driving around the Circuit de la Sarthe in southern France for a full 24 hours.

The race is part of the World Endurance Championship which begins on March 17 at the 1000 Miles of Sebring where the Hertz team will be making its debut.
