(ConservativeCore.com)- Reports show social media users slammed Nancy Pelosi over her remarks on President Biden’s age.
On Monday, she said that Biden’s age was not a concern since he is younger than her when she sat down with Atlantic writer Evan Smith to debate the future of democracy. Pelosi remarked he was a fantastic leader, so she didn’t see the problem.
Twitter users pointed out that it wasn’t a good defense of Biden and that her argument had multiple flaws.
Biden is just a few years younger than Pelosi. Pelosi is 82 years old, while Biden is 80, so there isn’t much of a generation gap between them.
Another user observed that if Biden were being compared to Pelosi, the bar would be set quite low since Pelosi herself appeared to be displaying symptoms of aging.
One user told others to watch the video without audio and tell us she doesn’t appear insane.
Most Americans are younger than Pelosi, so pointing out that President Biden was younger isn’t revealing.
Reports show that Biden’s mental health and age are causing concern.
Most of the criticism of Biden is not directed at his age but rather at his seeming inability to address audiences without making a succession of humiliating gaffes and then displaying his difficulties in going up the stairs of Air Force One afterward.
To the viewer, Pelosi’s claim does not vindicate Biden. There is still cause for concern about his cognitive status.
Reports confirm that Democrats are making lame efforts to dismiss people’s worries about Biden’s mental health.
