The news comes despite Harris having already conceded the election to Donald Trump, who secured 312 Electoral College votes. The redirection of funds raises serious questions about the true intentions behind this recount attempt and the potential undermining of our democratic process.
Is she plotting an insurrection?
According to ActBlue’s donation page, a portion of the contributions will be allocated to “Harris for President’s Recount Account.” Specifically, it states:
“The first $41,300/$15,000 from a person/multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to the DNC. The next $3,300/$5,000 from a person/PAC will be allocated to Harris for President’s Recount Account.”
This lack of transparency is deeply concerning. The American people deserve to know exactly how their hard-earned money is being used, especially when it comes to something as crucial as our electoral process.

Harris’ actions appear to contradict her own words. In her concession speech, she urged supporters to accept the election results, stating:
“We must accept the results of this election.”
Yet, her campaign is now actively fundraising for a recount effort.
Is something fishy going on here? Does Kamala even know what is being alleged here?
Ultimately, it’s important to note that Harris’ campaign is unlikely to call for a widespread recount. Multiple states would need to flip for a different election outcome, which is highly improbable. Some states have automatic recount laws if the margin is within a certain percentage, but candidates can request recounts under specific conditions.
We’ve seen this play out before. In 2020, recounts were conducted in battleground states like Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin after requests from the Trump campaign. These recounts did not significantly alter the results, further highlighting the integrity of our electoral system.
The Real Agenda: Funding Down-Ballot Races?
While Harris’ website claims to be soliciting donations to ensure all votes are counted in close Congressional races, this explanation raises more questions than it answers. The website states:
“With a handful of key Senate and House races still too close to call, we are keeping our organizers and volunteers on the ground in those states to see the election across the finish line.”
However, Republicans have already secured a Senate majority. The only remaining battleground is the House of Representatives, where 18 races are still uncalled. This begs the question: Is the Harris campaign using the guise of a presidential recount to funnel money into these down-ballot races?
