Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are the subject of divorce rumors, and it seems she has decided to fuel the rumors with her 2021 song about changing her life.
Lopez posted the song’s official music video, “Cambia El Paso,” on Instagram on Sunday. The English translation of the Spanish lyric says things like:
-He doesn’t deserve her
-One, two, three, move forward
– Her life is better now that he’s gone
-To be well, she doesn’t need anyone
-She doesn’t fail
The inuendos are not subtle, and fans take it as message; she doesn’t need Affleck to be happy, independent, and strong.
After dating for a while in the early 2000s, Lopez and Affleck were engaged in 2002. But in 2004, they finally gave in to the pressure of the media and called off their wedding. Since then, they’ve both moved on to other relationships. The musician Marc Anthony became a father to twins with Lopez, and actor Ben Affleck had three children with Jennifer Garner. The marriages did not last.
Not spending the Fourth of July together sparked divorce rumors between Affleck and Lopez. Lopez was in the Hamptons with friends, and Affleck was in Los Angeles with his children. Their wedding bands were seen on both of them, even though they have been living apart. Affleck wore his wedding band to lunch with his child Fin in Los Angeles on Thursday, while Lopez was spotted wearing hers on the East Coast.
In contrast to Lopez’s $60.8 million Beverly Hills mansion, Affleck lives in a Brentwood rental.
They tied the knot in July 2022, but Affleck allegedly already has everything he owns out of their shared house. According to a source, Lopez and Affleck have been living apart.
Paparazzi pictures have rarely shown Affleck in public, and throughout his career, he has looked happy. He is often seen in photos looking miserable and disconnected from his mate.
