Eminem’s Ex-Wife Spotted Sleeping in Car Amid Rehab Struggles

While running errands, Kim Mathers, the rapper Eminem’s ex-wife, has been observed dozing off in her car. The 49-year-old, who was married to Eminem and has three kids with him, has recently changed her look, sporting short-cropped hair and several tattoos.

She was spotted on her shopping excursion sporting a bandana with paisley patterns, a choker, and unusual ear jewellery in addition to prescription sunglasses. She dozed for an hour, eventually waking up and going to a Sally’s Beauty supply store.

Kim has been clean and sober since a 45-day stay in treatment following a mental health crisis in 2022. Not long after her mother passed away in 2022, she paid $530,000 for her previous four-bedroom, three-bathroom Michigan home. According to mortgage paperwork, she borrowed $615,000 from Eminem’s Shady Games, Inc. to pay for the property initially.

Along with her adoptive daughter Alaina, 31, whose mother, Dawn, Kim’s sister, passed away from a heroin overdose in 2016, Kim has a 29-year-old daughter named Hailie Jade with the rapper. In addition, she is the mother of a teenage boy named Parker and a non-binary 22-year-old named Stevie Laine from a prior relationship. Alaina and Stevie were both adopted by Eminem when they were little.

In March 2023, Kim sold her custom-built home for $1.35 million, and her most recent home sold for $560,000. She currently resides minutes away in a five-bedroom, three-bathroom house.

Kim attended a wedding that Eminem went to — Hailie’s wedding in Battle Creek, Michigan, in May. The former couple was shown sitting far apart in a shot that is part of a set of images on Alaina’s Instagram.

Although it’s unclear if they conversed at the wedding, Kim previously said that despite years of ups and downs, they remain pretty friendly.

Eminem is enjoying the popularity of The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace), his first album in four years in which he ends his well-known alter ego.

Eminem has stopped rattling Kim in recent years, ending his incessant rapping about his ex on his previous albums.
