Following a raid at his Florida property, Sean Kingston was apprehended in California on May 23rd.
According to Carey Codd, a public information officer, Kisean Anderson, also known as Sean Kingston, was arrested at Fort Irwin, California, this evening without incident on a warrant from the Broward Sheriff’s Office for several counts of fraud and theft.
The San Bernardino, California, jail is where he will be booked, according to authorities.

At his South Florida residence, Janice Turner, Kingston’s mother, was arrested on the same day.
Arrest and search warrants were served at a house in Southwest Ranches on May 23 by detectives from the Dania Beach District, members of the BSO’s Strategic Investigations Unit, and Davie Police SWAT. The investigation started in Dania Beach.
The inquiry led to the arrest of his mother, Janice Turner, on many counts of theft and fraud.
Turner spent 16 months behind bars in 2006 for her convictions related to bank fraud and the submission of fraudulent loan applications comprising $132,000 in stolen monies.
The mother and son are both indicted on several counts of theft and fraud for allegedly acquiring expensive goods and services valued at more than $1 million via deceit and non-payment.
Grand theft, fraud, an organized plot to swindle, and unlawful exploitation of personally identifiable information are the specific allegations against Kingston.
After crashing his jet ski into a Miami Beach bridge in 2011, Kingston nearly died twice in the mishap. He reportedly spent three weeks in the hospital after suffering a fractured hand, shattered jaw, and water in his lungs.
Authorities determined that Kingston lacked comprehension of fundamental marine safety measures after a three-month examination.
The 2007 debut song “Beautiful Girls” catapulted Kisean Paul Anderson, better known as Kingston, to stardom. Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, and Justin Bieber are among his subsequent collaborators.
