In the winter of 2022, Russia invaded their neighboring nation of Ukraine in Eastern Europe. Since the conflict began, blood has been increasingly shed, with over half a million casualties having been incurred in the conflict since its commencement in both civilian and military terms. Major cities have been shelled and bombed, and unfortunate citizens have been caught in the crossfire. In the United States, billions and billions of dollars has been sent by congress and the Biden administration to the Ukraine. Unfortunately, while many Americans do not support continuous government spending while 60% of citizens are living paycheck to paycheck and the nation plunges deeper into tens of trillions of dollars in debt, politicians and the ruling elitists of the west remain committed to feeding the conflict.

The Canadian speaker of the house Anthony Rota invited Yaroslav Hunka to the chamber, introducing him as a “war hero” who served in the “1st Ukrainian Division” during World War Two against the Soviets. Apparently, Rota either has no historical intellect or knowledge, or simply did not vet or do any research regarding Hunka or the military unit.
