Reports show House Ways and Means Committee Chair Jason Smith (R-MO) disclosed that President Joe Biden’s email alias engaged in five messages with Eric Schwerin, a family associate, just before Biden’s 2014 visit to Ukraine, when Hunter Biden was a board member of Ukrainian energy company Burisma, and twenty-seven emails following the conclusion of the trip.
As a key player in the Biden enterprise, Schwerin’s role in the chronology of Biden’s pseudonym emails is noteworthy.
Business dealings in Romania, Russia, Ukraine, and China originated from the Rosemont Seneca Partners fund, which Schwerin presided over. Hunter Biden and several friends established the firm.
While Joe Biden has been in political office, the Biden family firm made millions from many transactions that spanned decades.
According to Smith, Schwerin was responsible for creating the several shell companies that laundered money globally used by the Biden family.
Joe Biden and Schwerin had joint bank accounts, and Schwerin oversaw the creation of guest lists for events hosted by the White House.
The divorce settlement with Kathleen, Hunter’s first wife, was worked out by Schwerin.
The 32 messages comprise a portion of Joe Biden’s eleven-page email correspondence from 2010 to 2019. Biden and Schwerin sent and received a total of 327 emails. The alias emails’ contents are not included in the record.
The House Ways and Means Committee received these emails from IRS whistleblowers Joseph Ziegler and Gary Shapley.
Included in the 32 emails is Joe Biden’s 2014 visit to Ukraine, during which he stated that he would withhold $1 billion from the Ukrainian president unless he fired a prosecutor. The prosecutor had Burisma in sight, and Hunter Biden was on Burisma’s board then.
At the 2018 Council on Foreign Relations, Joe Biden boasted about the Ukrainian prosecutor’s termination.
Both Joe Biden’s past in Ukraine and the questionable timing of the pseudonym emails were brought to light by Smith.
According to Smith’s allegation, Joe Biden sent emails to his son and his son’s partner in business from private accounts using aliases at the time of overseas visits like those to Ukraine. Their data makes it evident that Joe Biden was actively engaged in his son’s financial operations, not just conscious of them.
