A Good Samaritan who saw what she felt was a crime in progress stepped in and stopped an 11-year-old girl from being abducted off the street.
At 11:45 a.m. on June 24, a guy approached the child as she was going along the High Street in West Wickham, Bromley, southeast London.
He attempted to get her to go with him, but a bystander realized she was uneasy and escorted her inside a store.
After the daylight kidnapping attempt, police have published images of two males of interest they want to speak with.
The Met Police have issued a statement, saying the detectives investigating an attempted kidnapping have published pictures of two males they wish to identify and talk with. The men are dark-skinned with dark hair and dark eyes. SEE HERE.
They said on Saturday, June 24, at 11:45 a.m., a man approached an 11-year-old girl on High Street, West Wickham, and asked if he could take her with him.
Someone in the crowd saw the youngster was scared and escorted her inside a nearby store. They asked the public if they recognized any males in their published photos to come forward with any information that might help the police.

The CCTV footage revealed that one of the males was dressed in a grey long-sleeved shirt. The second wanted individual was seen on surveillance footage wearing a light gray T-shirt.

A few days before, a guy in South London tried to kidnap a youngster by convincing her to get inside his silver Ford Transit van on the way to school.
On Purneys Road in Greenwich, a parent claimed their child was almost abducted by a stranger who attempted to persuade the youngster into the back of a car.
On Thursday, June 15, just after 9 a.m., police were contacted following a complaint that a guy in a vehicle had spoken to a youngster walking to school.
The youngster was found to be healthy and safe, and the Met Police have begun an investigation into what happened.
